Mike and Edward are two hopeless dreamers from a small American town who join forces to open a restaurant specialising in German sausages. This film about friendship and charcuterie is also a social satire where searching for one's identity clashes with rigid religion, intellectual narrow-mindedness, racism, homophobia, and other forms of intolerance. This mix of an extremely eccentric comedy and bigoted drama was nominated for prizes at festivals in Tallinn and Sao Paolo.
