Greece, 1984. Young lovers, Kenneth and Theres, make money for travelling by busking. When Kenneth learns about his mother's accident, he must return home and leave Theres in Greece. Berlin, thirty years later: actress Ariane is leaving her husband. The two seemingly different stories of love's end intersect in this stylistically elaborate film.
