Marija is a Ukrainian working in Germany as a cleaning lady. One day, she'd like to have her own hair salon, but when she loses her job, the dream seems unattainable. Despite that, she refuses to give up and is determined to do everything to succeed in the foreign country. Michael Koch's confident debut captured the attention of film critics as well as international festivals partly thanks to Margarita Breitkrez's performance in the leading role.
