Fifteen-year-old Remco's father makes his living by smuggling and selling puppies. One day, Remco makes a video of his younger sister drowning the unsold puppies in a river. When he posts it online, it triggers outrage worldwide. The Dutch director Ben Brand's first feature is inspired by real events that frame a parable about the ability of today's young generation to gauge the negative impact of their behavior.
