Shravan, a member of a lower Indian caste, dreams of establishing a career as a respected boxer one day. When he falls in love with the niece of his arch-enemy, an influential local boxer, his life heads in another direction. Shravan soon realizes that boxing in India involves many different things, not just boxing as such. This romantic sport drama was directed by Anurag Kashyap, one of the most respected contemporary Indian filmmakers.
