Salam must cross an Israeli checkpoint on his way to work every day. When a soldier on duty finds out that Salam works on a popular TV soap opera with a romantic-espionage plot, he starts suggesting where the story should go. Thanks to his ideas, Salam is promoted from a flunkey to a scriptwriter, but he also ends up in the middle of a clash about the series' ending. This comedy from a region full of tension offers a rather different view of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
