THE FEBIOFEST REGIONS TOUR HAS COME TO HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ

The famous Bio Central in the east-Bohemian city of Hradec Králové has hosted one of the stops on the Febiofest Regions Tour, which brings selected films from Prague IFF – Febiofest to other parts of the Czech Republic.

Viewers in Hradec Králové could enjoy four films from this year’s programme: The first ever Swiss-Czech coproduction Lost in Paradise – an at times tragic, at times comical mosaic of blame, different cultural values, and hope for reconciliation; the documentary Totally Under Control, in which Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney gives an urgent testimony to the fatal failure of the American government in the face of Covid-19; the black-and-white visual poem Last and First Men, inspired by the eponymous space saga by Olaf Stapleton; and the latest film by legendary director and screenwriter Woody Allen: Rifkin’s Festival, a caustic comedy about self-centered intellectuals, faded relationships and living life through art.
