She studied cultural studies at Charles University and screenwriting and dramaturgy at FAMU. She worked at the Institute of Documentary Film in Prague, where she led the international training program Ex Oriente Film and the East European Forum presentation. Her feature debut Daniel's World (2014) won the Audience Award at the Ji.hlava IDFF and was screened in the Panorama section at the Berlinale. She also works as a curator and dramaturg.
