Sebastian Brauneis (Austria) was born in Vienna, but spent a major part of his childhood travelling across Eastern Europe and the Middle East thanks to his father who was a war correspondent. He didn't finish his studies in medicine and journalism and started to work in television and film instead. He gradually established himself as a prominent TV show creator. In 2014, he started teaching at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Sorcerer, which premiered at the Max Ophüls Prize Festival in Saarbrücken, is his feature debut and he will personally introduce it at Febiofest on 26th March. (New Europe)
