DIRECTOR, SCRIPTWRITER AND PRODUCER
Director, scriptwriter and producer, Ruth Meehan has been working in film and TV in Ireland and the UK since 1998. She got her international breakthrough with a short film And the Red Man Went Green (2002), which won a number of festival awards. She followed this success by creating a number of other award-winning documentary films and short films. A sensitive piece, The Bright Side is her first live-action feature film.
The Bright Side was selected as a contender in the Main Competition of the 28th Prague IFF – Febiofest.
