Director
Juraj Šlauka (1982) comes from Stupava in Slovakia. He grew up next to a rubbish dump and a cement factory, which left a major mark aesthetically on his creative output. After graduating from a business academy he passed through a number of jobs, including at a meat processing plant, an old folks’ home, a pet shop and an insurance company, where he was a liquidator. He later studied dramaturgy and screenwriting at Bratislava’s Academy of Performing Arts. His feature debut Punk Never Ends! is also his doctoral project.
