Jan Prušinovský (born 1979) is a Czech director, screenwriter and producer. He studied screenwriting and dramaturgy at Prague’s FAMU film school, graduating with the film Frankie is a Womanizer (2008). In 2010 he made the series Sunday League for TV NOVA. A movie prequel to the series, subtitled Pepik Hnatek’s Final Match, premiered in 2012. He later continued creating series, in cooperation with Czech Television: Fourth Star (2014), Gnome (2016), Most! (2019). In 2015 his film The Snake Brothers was selected for the main competition at the Karlovy Vary IFF.
