Born in Haifa in 1979. Fell in love with poetry at an early age, and later with the movies. Studied film at the Jerusalem film school of Sam Spiegel. Anthem, his graduation film, won the Cinefondation in Cannes 2008. Another short, And on he walks participated in the Locarno film festival 2011. His first feature Afterthought was part of Cannes Official selection 2015, and won several local awards back home. Has 2 children and lives in Tel-Aviv. Teaches, lectures and gives story tutoring to film students and professionals.
