David Kelly’s career as producer began in the mid-1980s in the documentary genre, but he later began to focus on feature-length dramas. He has helped make such films as Aki Kaurismäki’s I Hired a Contract Killer (1990) or the biographical drama Desert Flower (2009). At the Prague IFF – Febiofest he is arriving with Mark Cousin’s documentary road movie The Storms of Jeremy Thomas about that legendary British producer. His production company, David P. Kelly Films, is based in London.
