Born in Munich, Anne Schäfer studied acting in Zurich. She has played various roles on the theatre stage, such as Electra, Rosalinda, and Roxane. Since 2009, she has also been appearing regularly in television series and films, including roles in the films Beloved Sisters (2014) and When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit (2019). In her latest film, Talking About the Weather, she plays the lead role of an intellectual who is striving to achieve a balance between her academic ambitions and her family.
