Beekeeper Ulee is doing all he can to keep both his dysfunctional family and his failing farm together. His son, who is serving a prison sentence, contacts him with a strange proposition. He will solve his father's problems if Ulee saves the son's wife. Ulee accepts and embarks on a dangerous journey into his son's past.
