In 1973, a group of five men and six women embarked on a three-month voyage across the Atlantic on a small raft. The aim of this sociological experiment was to examine the roots of violence, hatred, and sexual attraction. Through archive materials and testimonies of the surviving members, the documentary director Marcus Lindeen reconstructs the venture that earned its fame as the strangest group experiment in history.
