Jaroslav Kučera – A Portrait is a 62-minute commented filmography of one of the most gifted filmmakers coming from Central Europe in 20th century. Cinematographer of The Cassandra Cat, Diamonds of the Night and Daisies among others, Kučera had a crucial impact on the creation and fame of the Czechoslovak New Wave, a movement that helped to revolutionise cinema in the 1960s.
