Inspired by both history and the literary canon, this atmospheric, chilling fable illustrates the birth of a ghastly young ego on the eve of Fascism's rise. The Boy lives with the Mother and Father in a mansion in France of 1918. The Father works for the American government, preparing the Treaty of Versailles, and the Boy witnesses and mysteriously triggers twists in the history of the 20th century, all related to his defiance against authority.
