Mute Sibel communicates through an ancient whistling language that resembles birdsong. When tales of a wolf prowling around spread in the village, Sibel takes a rifle, leaves her sister and father, and sets off to the woods. She meets a man there – an outcast similar to her. The FIPRESCI winner at the Locarno Film Festival is a modern story with fairy-tale motifs, set in nature as green as the protagonist's eyes.
