A young boy finds a dead horse in a field. He overcomes his initial apprehension and eventually starts carefully examining it, until the arrival of the adults who see the corpse only as a problem they need to get rid of. Yet for the main protagonist, it is the beginning of a journey woven from memories. This dreamily elliptic debut about the contact between humans, animals and nature was awarded at the Locarno Film Festival.
