Olga is a Russian aristocrat who participated in the anti-German resistance in France. After her arrest, she falls into the hands of two men – collaborator Jules, and an influential SS officer with whom she had had a passionate affair years ago. Directed by Andrey Konchalovskiy, the black-and-white anti-war drama won the Silver Lion at the Venice IFF and was Russia's submission for the Oscar for the Best Foreign Language Film.
