Adrian is an aspiring writer escaping from the poverty of his Romanian home to the sunny Spain. He wants to start a new life and learn Spanish. To make ends meet, he gets a job as a night guard at a used-car dealership in Cordoba. A coincidence brings him together with a local female musician, and after a night spent together on the beach, a passionate connection full of dramatic twists develops between them. Will Adrian manage to shed the bonds of prejudices that bind him as well as those around?

His feature debut, Love Sick, premiered at the 2006 Berlinale and won at several international festivals.
