A single word whispered in his ear by a stranger on a bridge prompts 40-year-old Günter to search for his past. Up until now, he’s had an essentially normal life. He has made a living as a theatre actor, had an affair with his fellow actor, the director’s wife, spent time with his daughter… But as a four-year-old child he was found in the woods in Germany, and now questions about his original family begin to dominate his existence, putting everything else out in the cold.

His witty and sinister new film Nr. 10, in which he once again manages to surprise audiences, closed the Netherlands Film Festival and competed at the Black Nights in Tallinn.
