This black-and-white film combines original footage and acted scenes depicting the Neptune operation, one of the first attempts at media mystification by the Czechoslovak State Security, when journalists found secret files from the Nazi occupation at the bottom of a lake. The film focuses on the clash between a skeptical journalist and a police officer and the futile efforts to reveal the state-supported disinformation. We present the world premiere of this film by Adéla Babanová, an audiovisual artist nominated for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. Short films Where Did the Stewardess Fall From? /12 min/ and Return to Adriaport /14 min/, both directed by Adéla Babanová, will be screened before the main feature.
