Argentina in the late 19th century was ruled partly by the natives and partly by colonialists. Pioneer Francisco P. Moreno, who moved between the two worlds, was mapping Patagonia at that time. Based on his diaries, director Francisco D'Eufemia and scriptwriter Javier Zavallos made a western-styled adventure story about an escape from Indian captivity, unfolding against the backdrop of a clash between two cultures.
