The Chilean television and film director, screenwriter, cinematographer and producer studied in Chile and the United States and has made both feature and documentary films. His second feature film, Padre Nuestro, was Chile's 2008 Oscar entry. Premiered at the Venice IFF last year, Sepúlveda's fourth feature film My Tender Matador won the Audience Award in Thessaloniki.
