The animated series follows the troubles of two bear friends. One is big, the other small, and both are always hungry. Every day, they come up with a brand new plan to get something good to eat in the easiest way possible, and get properly stuffed. They find inspiration for the schemes in their hobbies. The big one likes reading newspapers, journals, watching TV and surfing the internet. The little one loves fairy tales and stories about bears.

Alexandra Májová, Kateřina Karhánková

Both Hungry Bear Tales creators are animators, illustrators and directors who studied animation at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. They have cooperated on animation projects, graphic designs, film posters, etc. On their own, they each made several animated films and Kateřina Karhánková was nominated for a Czech Lion for her film Fruits of Clouds.
