Mimi and Lisa are best friends. When a dumpster for old things appears by their house, Lisa decides to throw away her old red ball into it. But the ball rolls off and leads the two inseparable friends on a journey into a garden where the girls discover that all things have a soul and deserve our respect. An animated adventure that shows how being mindful of the world round us makes it easier for us to transform it. The film comes with an opening short Suzie in the Garden.

Ivana Šebestová, Katarina Kerekesová

This is the directing duo behind the successful adaptation of the story of the two friends who first appeared in a 2011 TV series into a feature entitled Mimi & Lisa: Christmas Light Mystery (2018). Together, Ivana and Katarína create animated films. Katarína Kerekesová is currently working on the next installment in the series about the Websters spider family.
