Bence Fliegauf

This native of Budapest gained his experience as an assistant director and a sound engineer. He never studied film. His directorial debut was Forest (2003), which resonates in his latest film. This festival favourite who already has awards from Berlinale and Locarno under his belt claims that his greatest inspiration is Béla Tarr. Forest – I See You Everywhere competed in Berlin this year and Lilla Kizlinger won an award for Best Supporting Performance.
