Ola, a seventeen-year-old Polish girl, tries her best to pass her driving test because it is only with her driving licence in hand that she will get the car she was promised by her father who works in Ireland. The situation changes radically when the father is accidentally killed at work and Ola, being the only English-speaking member of the family, has to travel to Ireland to deal with the formalities and arrange for the transport of the body. A sensitive and sarcastically humorous story about the transformation of a girl into a woman.

The director, screenwriter and actor has been making short films based on his own scripts since 2012. His feature debut, Silent Night (2017), won nine Polish Orly Film Awards and several awards abroad. His second film, I Never Cry, was equally well received, having premiered in San Sebastian, it got ten nominations for Polish Orly Awards, and won three awards at the Gdynia Film Festival.
