Leta, a mother with a one-year-old son, has accepted a job as a personal nurse – and for a reason. Leta cannot pay her bills and is promptly kicked out by the landlord. Slowly but steadily she works on her plan to move in with her client, and thus escape homelessness. The care for the older bed-ridden woman becomes an existential task, but the fragile bond between the two women oscillates between an act of compassion and a dry, pragmatic choice.
