Under pressure from his loving, deeply religious parents, teenage Jared starts a conversion therapy programme that is supposed to change his sexual orientation and has been banned in many American states as a form of psychological abuse. This star-cast film with its excellent performances is based on a true story and empathically follows Jared's inner struggles and the journey of his parents.
