Illustrator, animator and director. In 2007, his comic book Adam’s Diary won the prestigious award for the Most Beautiful Czech Book from the Czech Museum of Literature. The series of books Doktor Racek, created in collaboration with Milada Rezková, won the Zlatá stuha award and a nomination for the Czech Grand Design Prize. Urbánek works in both comics and animation.
