Nam lives as a simple fisherman on the bank of a border river between North and South Korea. After an engine failure, his boat crosses the demarcation line and Nam is arrested by the South Korean border patrol. His only wish is to return to his family, but the political and military wheels have already begun to turn. The stark story shows yet another aspect of prominent South Korean director Kim Ki-duk.
