Sixty-something Nina (Barbara Sukowa) and Madeleine (Martine Chevallier) have been hiding their relationship for decades. In the eyes of Madeleine's daughter Anne (Léa Drucker), they're merely friends who happen to live across the hall. Nina insists that Madeleine tells her family about them, but the fear of being misunderstood by her own children affects Madeleine's health and their world, functioning for years, shatters. A touchingly sincere drama with an all-star cast about love that is unique and worth living for.
