Camille lives in Long Island with her deeply conservative mother who certainly doesn't approve of her daughter's passion for skateboarding. When Camille discovers an exclusively female group of skateboarders on Instagram, she leaves home and sets off for New York to meet them. The American director's live-action feature debut is inspired by a real skateboarding crew of young women, some of whom she cast in the film.
