The documentary gives an account of interconnections among people and depicts their courage to change something through their own effort. It shows that every human being has the freedom to be happy, and that a life in pursuit of beauty and a life dedicated to sustainability are not mutually exclusive. Illiterate Indian women become experts in solar panels, a former forester builds wooden houses that do not require heating, a Swiss couple turns a wasteland into paradise, and musicians make tones transform into beauty.

The Austrian filmmaker made several short films that succeeded at European festivals, and later worked for the ORF TV. He now teaches at a university and directs independent films focusing on environmental issues. His feature documentary Let's Make Money won the Best Documentary award at Sundance.
