Belarussian Zanna, Afghan Azzam and Ukrainian Wiera are connected not only through their immigrant status in Poland, but also their determination to fight for their fulfillment, personal freedom and own identities under the ever-shining lights of the Varsovian boulevard of New World. Short stories by young directors examine topics which are taboo in Poland - homosexuality, single motherhood, feminism, and trans parenthood - with unexpected candor.
