Anežka is a young woman who wishes the relationships with her family and partner were good and calm, even at the cost of her constant deference and avoidance of potential misunderstandings and fights. But she doesn’t realize the hypothetical quiet is just the quiet before the storm that must come sooner or later. Moments tell a story about basic situations, relationships and emotions that everybody experiences. The film talks about love, pain, loyalty, but also about the hope that people can transform their hurt into strength.

The screenwriter, director and writer gradu - ated from Prague FAMU in 2015. Before she went to film, she published her first book, My Hilarious Hell (2005), which was followed by other titles including children’s books. Moments (2018) is her auteur feature debut and was presented at KVIFF.
