Hideo is a middle-aged man without any friends. His only companion is Nozomi, a life-size blow-up doll. One day, Nozomi finds out she has a heart and has become a human being. She slowly starts exploring the world outside, completely unknown to her until now. However, she discovers really fast how much pain and confusion a heart can cause. This tragicomic drama with fantasy elements is loosely inspired by a popular Japanese manga by Yoshiie Gōda.
